Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the Maryland Fire-Rescue Services Memorial!

The Maryland Fire Service Personnel Qualifications Board (MFSPQB) presented a donation to the Maryland Fire-Rescue Services Foundation at their annual gala in Annapolis. Traditionally, the MFSPQB donates one dollar for each certification issued to support the upkeep and the now planned expansion of the memorial. While 6,369 certifications were issued in 2024, the MFSPQB upped its contribution to $10,000 this year. It was noted that the MFSPQB has donated more than $63,000 since the inception of the foundation. Established in 1997, the Maryland Fire-Rescue Services Memorial Foundation commemorates and honors Maryland’s fallen heroes who gave their lives in service to the citizens of our state. The memorial is located on Calvert Street as you enter Annapolis. Pictured left to right: Teresa Ann Crisman, Foundation Board Member; Steven Mandragos, Foundation Acting Vice President; Michael W.
